Arthur Dower was born in Selma Alabama, where he stated singing at the age of four years old; Arthur began singing in a group called the “Morning Doves” with his Grandmother Minnie, Aunt Frances, Aunt Jackie, and Uncle Johnny.

Arthur developed the passion for singing, when his grandmother Minnie later formed the group “The Supreme Angeles” which included Arthur and his siblings, where they ministered throughout the great state of Alabama.

The natural talent and the revelation of his ministry gifts, pushed Arthur to the forefront to branch
out as a soloist at eighteen years old, his career would flourish before his twentieth birthday,
receiving recognition he was honored as the male vocalist of the year, and was also awarded the key to
the city.

At age twenty-two, Arthur moved to Los Angeles, California where he began working with Calvin Bernard
Rhone.

He also joined forces with Robert Gilmore and Perfect Praise, wherein he traveled throughout the west
coast opening up for James Cleveland and the Cleveland Singers.
